After School Programs
      at the Glenbrook Community Center

• The After school program provides children ages 5-12 years with a fun, safe and comfortable environment while you are at work.

• Here, they will be given the opportunity to join in recreational activities including wiffleball, basketball, kickball, volleyball, and street hockey.

• We have a media station where they can play the latest video games.

• Our game room has two fooseball tables, shuffleboard, air hockey, and an assortment of board games.

• For the creative spirits, we have daily arts and crafts.

• A quiet study area is provided, in which the children can do their homework and receive any needed assistance from our staff.

• The children are given supervised access to our computers for papers and projects.

• Snacks and drinks are sold on site, and the spring brings the ice cream truck to our door :).

• Our after school program opens the first day of each school year and closes on the last day of school.

• The program operates Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Extended hours are available until 6:00 p.m.

• We also have school holiday and vacation programs, which operate from 8:00 am.- 6:00 p.m.

• Transportation from the local schools to our center is provided each day.

Registration Fee: $35.00 School Vacation Days: $30.00
 

Activities for Kids at Julia A. Stark School
Activities for Kids operates a recreational program in conjunction with the Julia A. Stark School after school program. Housed in the gymnasium of Stark School, our staff organizes tournaments and teaches basic skills and sportsmanship in Kickball, Basketball, Soccer, Football and Baseball.
